Hydrasuits & legsuits

To start things off, sorry that there hasn’t been many updates to the website recently, most of my focus has been on work related stuff and keeping the forum ticking over!
Years ago, Speedo used to do the popular S2000 hydrasuit in a male cut but unfortunately has since been discontinued. One thing I have noticed with Speedo is that their range varies tremendously around the world. In Japan for example, they sell a wide selection of hydrasuit style swimsuits but in the UK, the range extends only to 2 or 3.
A general straw poll would seem to show that the hydrasuit is the favoured style for men to wear but what is often overlooked are the legsuits that are available. The legsuits tend to have a similar upper body style to hydrasuits and in my opinion, are certainly worth a try! Most legsuits are of a female cut but a style that is fairly androgynous although watch for the legsuits with the strap style (racer) backs.

I have got the new address ‘onepieceswim.com‘ and have moved the whole site over to a new, more powerful server with newer software and lots of nice little bits! So, why has the address changed? Well, I will still keep the old address ‘meninonepieceswimsuits.com’ and it will always be forward to the site. ‘Onepieceswim.com’ is shorted than the original address and is less obvious as to what the site is for those that keep their interests in one-piece swimsuits private. Nothing quite as embarrassing as someone else typing a web address beginning with ‘m’ into the address bar of a browser and the site ‘menineonepieceswimsuits.com’ appearing! On that note, I have changed the site name to ‘One Piece Swim’ as well for the similar reason! But, don’t worry, the old domain is certainly not going anywhere!
So, there you go – that’s the big news really, and hopefully shows the expanding user base that I am committed to continuing this site (hint for users to feel free to contribute if they would like!).

Welcome to the first ‘Swimsuit Watch’ post! Swimsuit Watch is a new little feature I am trying where if a new design of hydrasuit or other recommended swimsuit is found, I post it here!
So, The first swimsuit is the Speedo Endurance Numbers Placement High Neck suit found at Swimshop. Currently selling for �27.99 for sizes 34 to 38, this swimsuit has a high neck with zip back. The back has a zip which goes to just below the shoulder blades (like on a normal hydrasuit) and then an oval opening over the lower back. Is it really summer?

For the UK at least, many of us are asking this very question! It has now been three weeks of rain mostly every day, some towns now resemble large ponds, others are just damp. Just back from a vacation in a nice warm and sunny location in the world, I am already trying to plan my next holiday to escape the general dampness. Apologies for the lack of posts over the last few weeks, I am afraid the beach and pool took priority on this occasion and the laptop stayed at home.
A new page titled ‘Evolution of Swimwear’ has been added which gives a quick run down on how swimwear got where it is today – I hope to expand and improve this article of the next couple of weeks – the text there currently is from Wikipedia!
Forum - I am considering the addition of a small forum on the site – if anyone would like to voice support or suggest topics, then please feel free to contact me from the contact page!
