Site Update

July 27th, 2007

You may have noticed that the website address has changed! I have got the new address ‘onepieceswim.com‘ and have moved the whole site over to a new, more powerful server with newer software and lots of nice little bits! So, why has the address changed? Well, I will still keep the old address ‘meninonepieceswimsuits.com’ and it will always be forward to the site. ‘Onepieceswim.com’ is shorted than the original address and is less obvious as to what the site is for those that keep their interests in one-piece swimsuits private. Nothing quite as embarrassing as someone else typing a web address beginning with ‘m’ into the address bar of a browser and the site ‘menineonepieceswimsuits.com’ appearing! On that note, I have changed the site name to ‘One Piece Swim’ as well for the similar reason! But, don’t worry, the old domain is certainly not going anywhere!

So, there you go – that’s the big news really, and hopefully shows the expanding user base that I am committed to continuing this site (hint for users to feel free to contribute if they would like!).

General Stuff!

SwimsuitJust a quick update this time with an apology to Arcim who I have been calling ‘Acrim’ for the past few months! Sorry, Arcim! Arcim has sent me a few links (below) – sporting girls has some great pictures in the preview section, but it is a ‘pay’ site :( .

Something to watch out for…

I will be putting together an article soon on ‘outdoor swimming‘, concentrating especially on swimming in lakes and rivers around the UK. If anyone would like to contribute any comments, then please feel free via the contact page or the forum – images can be contributed too, to get the details on how to send us images, contact us via the contact page.

Swimsuit Watch

July 8th, 2007

Speedo Endurance Numbers PlacementWelcome to the first ‘Swimsuit Watch’ post! Swimsuit Watch is a new little feature I am trying where if a new design of hydrasuit or other recommended swimsuit is found, I post it here!

So, The first swimsuit is the Speedo Endurance Numbers Placement High Neck suit found at Swimshop. Currently selling for 27.99 for sizes 34 to 38, this swimsuit has a high neck with zip back. The back has a zip which goes to just below the shoulder blades (like on a normal hydrasuit) and then an oval opening over the lower back. You can view a larger image of this swimsuit in the gallery – click here.

Is it really summer?

July 6th, 2007

FlowersFor the UK at least, many of us are asking this very question! It has now been three weeks of rain mostly every day, some towns now resemble large ponds, others are just damp. Just back from a vacation in a nice warm and sunny location in the world, I am already trying to plan my next holiday to escape the general dampness. Apologies for the lack of posts over the last few weeks, I am afraid the beach and pool took priority on this occasion and the laptop stayed at home.

A new page titled ‘Evolution of Swimwear’ has been added which gives a quick run down on how swimwear got where it is today – I hope to expand and improve this article of the next couple of weeks – the text there currently is from Wikipedia!

Forum - I am considering the addition of a small forum on the site – if anyone would like to voice support or suggest topics, then please feel free to contact me from the contact page!
