Wearing with confidence! (Part 1)

April 20th, 2007

Speedo FastskinOK, thing to remember – one-piece swimsuits are (unfortunately) only designed for females with the obvious exception of the Speedo fastskin suits (& the like – Adidas, Nike, etc). Now, this should definately not put you off, but leads us on to the first tip:

  1. Wear a swimsuit that is the correct size – too large and it will not fit, too small and it will be uncomfortable.
  2. Choose a plain or shape/design based swimsuit rather than floral. A floral swimsuit will stand out even more as they are less common in today’s fashion.
  3. Get used to seeing yourself in the swimsuit by wearing one for a decent period of time and not just once.
  4. Try the swimsuit in the bath or shower.
  5. Wear the swimsuit beneath normal everyday clothes when you go shopping or to the park.

Part 2 to follow with more hints & tips…

Happy April!

April 1st, 2007

It has been a while since the last update, been rather busy doing my day job of writing code to make the internet great for people… well, a small set of people who insist on transferring large files around the place!

I think I originally said that this site was set up to keep on what Acrim began. Truth be told, I love one-piece swimsuits – in my humble opinion, they look good, feel good, are comfortable to swim in and have variety although I suppose the latter also comes under the heading of ‘they look good’. So, why a one-piece swimsuit instead of swim shorts? For me, it depends on what I feel like at the time. Another benefit is of course sun protection! (I know you could wear a sunsuit, wetsuit or even just a t-shirt, but where is the variety in that?!!)

So, why do you wear one-piece swimsuits? When did you start? Feel free to write in and get your story published here!
