Dear Arcim,
Just discovered your great website about men in swimsuits.
Believe me, I know the meaning of this.
I am very much a fetishist: From my very youth I have allways hated nudity (my own as well as others); nudistcamps or -beaches are my greates nightmare. From the moment I left my parents house I have never worn “regular” underwear anymore for even one single day.
At that time I only wore men’s swimbriefs and -shorts, but soon I discovered the fine aspects of swimsuits.
As I am 50+ now, this was in a time way before the invention on the century: LYCRA, or SPANDEX, or DORLASTAN that Dupont and Bayer blessed us with.
But even in that time we allready had “Lastex”, “Helanca” and several nylon fabrics and I enjoyed wearing those suits.
Nowadays I wear swimsuits 24 hours a day. I work in them,(under streetclothing of course), I sleep in them, I even wear them under shower and in bath, only taking them off when I need a wash……!
Personally I have never felt “strange” of kinky over this; it feels completely natural to me and also all the women that I have known intimately never had a problem with it either.
My present girlfriend allways wears sexy 1 piece swimsuits in bed and they never come off when making love…..!
My collection of lycra swimsuits, diving suits, all-over-skating suits and the like is now more than 300 pieces.
As I have no transvestite tendencies I prefer the less “feminine” styles. Just like you, the high neck, high leg styles by Speedo, Essenuto, Arena are my favorites, although a bit too hot in this summer. And I just got a very thin, very shiny and very smooth one this style by Olympia.
That new Adidas suit certainly looks an absolute must!!
Even though a european size 40 – 42 fits me well, I don’t think I have the age and shape anymore to go public in a swimsuit, but I like to wear my Reebok gray trainingsuit with short legs when I take a dip in the Northsea once in awhile, when I feel comfortable among friends – I would not do that alone.
It was interesting to watch the European Swimchampionships last week.
Some man wore the long speedosuits, but you could see that they were not really “comfortable” in them.
Some wear the bermuda’s but I just hate the very low-hip line of all contemporary male competition swimwear. But I agree with you: a breakthrough is inevitable.
Maybe I will make some picture these days and send them to you. In the meantime: Keep up the good work, Arcim. I like it very much.
